Years after she walked away from Ohtori,
Anthy Himemiya leads a very different life from that of the Rose
Bride. But during a routine job, she encounters something that
could pull her back once more into the orbit of the Sigil of the
Rose....
On the other side of the world, in a
mountain town in Japan, a young woman named Kageyama Tomomi is tending
to the business of her family's inn when she comes across the crux of
her destiny. Around the same time in the western United States,
Nanami Kiryu has a visit from an old friend, one with a proposition.
Utena and Shiko get caught up in the machinations
of the Order of the Duelists, while Nanami ventures off
to Italy on a mission for Utena. Meanwhile, Anthy is coaxed out
of retirement by a lure she can't refuse: the hope of being reunited
with her beloved prince.
When a crisis threatens the world's main
munitions plant, both the US and Japanese EVA teams rush to the
rescue, and the meeting between the two teams is an experience perhaps
even odder than the bond between Shinji and Asuka.
